The current Covid-19 pandemic has made the struggles of refugees at both the Greek-Turkish border and in Australia even more dangerous and challenging. Activists and academics — Chris Breen, Asli Igsiz, Phevos Simeonidis, Eleni Takou and Jini Kim Watson — speak on the current detention regimes of the two countries, how the pandemic has affected conditions, and what implications for solidarity actions there are in our current moment. The interviews took place in July and August, 2020 and came out of the Covid and Society Working Group. This project was supported by Ideas and Futures and the Center for Covid-19 Response and Pandemic Preparedness at Rutgers University.
